WHO WE ARE
NOTAMANIA was born for fun from the idea of a team of friends, designers and entrepreneurs, who decided to transform their passions into shapes. We began with the passion for music. Music is played by notes of course, but also by images and cult objects that have influenced our lives.
We want to develop an independent brand free from the prevailing market logic made of trends and large industrial productions by producing our collections handcrafted, entirely in Italy, one piece at a time.
We only use fine leather, guaranteed and protected by the Consortium of Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather in Tuscany. A leather made with the utmost respect for the environment, controlled in the processing phases, without metals, coming from the recovery of the food sector, tanned by means of natural tannins of vegetable origin from renewable sources and appreciated for their antioxidant, antibiotic and antibacterial.
The Consortium has created a warranty card equipped with a traceability system of the supply chain that certifies the quality and origin of the leather that we provide together with the product.
The metal parts are made of lost-wax casting, finished by hand with brush polishing and then treated galvanically with copper plating and palladium rhodium plating to give it shine and resistance and to prevent oxidation at the same time.
The resin components are made with numerically controlled machinery worked from a solid base. These are the same materials used for the original musical instruments.
